When it comes to website building, you need to make sure your website works in all browsers! Some browsers auto update themselves, for example chrome, and some browsers have worked extremely well for a long time, Firefox is a prime example! However when it comes to Internet Explorer most people don't update it which means they continue to run with old and buggy version! As developers this can cause problems!
While it's possible to install mutiple versions of Internet Explorer it's very hard to actually do... so the bright sparks at my-debugbar.com have developed a fantastic and easy to use tool called IETester! So you can now test your site and see how it will look to users of Internet Explorer versions 6, 7 and 8. Not only that, but if you have Internet Explorer 9 installed, you can also test it on IE9 at the same time! There is the function to test on IE5.5 but in our view, thats not needed!

While it's a fantastic piece of software thats FREE, there are a few known bugs. These include:
● Java Applets occasionally don't work
● Flash will NOT work on IE6 instances in User mode : FIX is to use IETester as Admin User
● CSS Filters will NOT work in User mode : Again the FIX is to use IETester as Admin User
To use IETester as an Admin User, open the software by Right-clicking the desktop icon and selecting "Run as Administrator"
